Windows 10 October 2018 Update continues to be a headache for Microsoft

Gee,I dont know what the problems are
I built a new system 3 years ago and havent ever had a problem ,lock up,blue screen or anything else happen
oops,im sorry,I forgot ,im still running windows 7 with all ties to microsoft turned off
no updates ,no telemetry,no forced nothing!
I hardened my system against ms,I'll take my chances with a system I CONTROL

You can thank the business model these days and unfortunately it not just Microsoft. When it is cheaper for businesses to lay off 30+ year old programmers because their experience and time will lead to increase wages, benefits and work pension.

So they hire kids out of school and just learning how to programmer for the first time and have no clue how to program good code at all.

I might not be too bright, but the smartest thing I did when I bought my laptop with win8 was to remove it and install win7 and never update it.

I do NOT surf bad sites and I have an antivirus. It has been great using win7 and I would never consider win10, but I have installed Linux on an older 'puter to get the feel of it for my next purchase....

Micro$lop is really not a tech company, they are a marketing company that markets tech stuff.....

Windows 7 and windows 10 is much more stable over windows 95 and windows 98.

But windows 10 is crippled with windows updates that crash the computer, boot loops, uninstalling drivers, deleting files, updates that fail doing the update, updates that get corrupted so on.

Problem is you cannot buy windows 7 any more and on eBay and or amazon .

Microsoft no longer sales windows 7.

In the year 2020 Microsoft will end support for windows 7
