Windows 10 password forgotten

I am not tech savvy at all, which is likely obvious. I purchased a new computer a few months ago with W10 on it. I was shut down for a month to move, and now I cannot remember the main password to get into my system.

I tried googling how to recover p/w, but that did not help me. I have found help here before, so I thought I would try again.
