I'm thinking that all of us still using Windows 7 should get a fat discount for being smart enough to avoid all the "tile nonsense" in the first place.
You already got a 100% discount on not buying 8. What more do you want? :0

One advantage Windows 7 has over 8.1 is compatibility: my older games would install and run the 64-bit version without issue. In 8.1 the setup executables, which are 32-bit, will not run so I can't install them. If this is addressed in Windows 9/Threshold then I'll be satisfied.
