Windows 95

I have an old IBM Aptiva which has been in storage for many many years. I plugged it in and it works like a charm. Want to sell it and need to clean the hard drive. Was told that I could reset the computer to the original setting and it would delete all my files. I cannot locate the original setup floppy disks. Would your version of Windows 95 be an adequate substitute to use to overwrite my existing HD to make my files inaccessible to anyone attempting to retrieve them? Thanks for any and all comments and recommendations.

An IBM Aptiva? Good luck selling that. What size is the HDD-- 6 gigabytes, tops? You'll be lucky to get $20 for it (that was how much I paid for mine, running Windows 98, back in 2002).
