I keep getting this Windows Live Sign in pop up when navigating my files in the drive folders or whenever I am in C:/ drive. It is a "Please Sign in with your Windows Live ID" asking for your login information. It doesn't give me the choice of never seeing the window again. It just has Ok or Cancel, anyone know how to get rid of this pop up?

Found this on Google search:
sign in windows live messenger then
click tools>options >general page on the LHS column.
From the top, untick the first box
tick the second box
untick the third box
apply, close and sign out
But the way I look at it is, just uninstall windows live messenger

By the way, if the above fixes it, please let me know
I don't use Messenger chat stuff, so I don't know if it'll work

I've tried that, along with google search results to no avail, i use live messenger all the time, it will suck if i had to uninstall it, but then again if there's other ways to stop that annoying thing from happening when I'm browsing through my drives.

Greetins my friend,

I encountered the same annoying system msg as you described on this topic

It is making me. I suppose it's a virus, isn't it?
The files on C/documents and settins are working extremely slow on browse.

Did you succeed stoping it?
Can you please tell me me how?
My e-mail is email removed

Many thanks
Nick
