Wireless internet card for Gigabyte 8S661fxm-rz motherboard

  1. Does anyone know what Wireless internet card is compatable with the GIGABYTE 8S661fxm-rz moterboard??
    How do i find out what connections on my motherboard are called?"so i can buy one for my pc"its using a tp-link at the moment and is very slow at downloading!
    can i read them off of the motherboard?

    That board has PCI slots. So most of the current wireless adapter cards would work. Just don't get anything that says PCI-Express.

    How are you testing your download speed? What speed do you subscribe to?

    If you say it you're seeing slow download speeds what are you using to determine that? Try downloading something from a few large sites like Microsoft's and see what kind of speeds you get.

    PCI-Express is a newer type of expansion slot that is not compatible with PCI cards.
