XP Service Pack 3 - Stable?

Is the SP 3 safe to install now? In the past I have read of too many people having issues and conflicts. I was wondering if the kinks have been worked out.

that was within the first coupla months after release. It's good to go for download now.

(one of bigger problems that made the news: About HP computers with AMD processors crashing big time was traced back to HP as the culprit for doing something dumb. Not to say XP SP3 didn't have some of its own too)

Yeah it is completely stable, there were issues at first that have since been ironed out. I recommend you go ahead and install it.
