YouTube is removing 'dislike' counter from all videos

So now I’ll have to watch a possibly crappy video (I’m referring to troll videos) to see if it’s worth my time and youtube gets to plaster some more ads for me to have to endure. It’s all about making money, corporate companies don’t care about anything else but income. Instead of fixing their spam bot issues they are fixing the users… this PC cancel culture is the end of the world
If you read either the likes or the dislikes before you watch a video, you're letting a bunch of other meatheads do your thinking for you.

Is it really that much trouble to think for yourself?

A new world order is taking shape in real time. A single governing body for all of earth is imminent. Dissent is forbidden. Free thinking is forbidden. Group identity is paramount and individuality is viewed as refusal to comply and conform. WWIII is imminent, but will not be nuclear. It will be social and it will be a revolution by those who refuse to be slaves.
I see you've finally gotten around to reading, 1984 It's about time

Excellent choice, and YouTube should be applauded. Anything that keeps the limp wrist lint balls from disliking a video just based on the headline or the creator will end. (y) (Y)
OK, the "dislike function can be wielded as a sort of "DDOS" attack.

Not to mention the old principle of etiquette whereby, "if you can't say something nice about somebody, don't say anything at all.

We've dealt with nonsense here. You get a new member / snowflake / SJW, who has nothing to contribute, gets treated accordingly, and then sits around giving out dislikes to everyone who has trampled his tender emotions.

The dislike function is crap anyway. Either log in and comment in the contradictory or derogatory, or keep your mouth shut and leave..

If people had visible ratios of how the world at large feels about them, like or dislike, the human race would have long been extinct. Only one opinion matters, but the holder is one few know and most won't acknowledge. To their own peril.

Curious that they aren't giving the creators the option to show it or not. I generally don't notice the Like/Dislike until after I watch a video. I see through my initial intention and make up my own mind. I agree or disagree by merit, not by cliques. Even in lieu of ones I tend to agree with the most.

I think the one not thinking for themselves is you. You misunderstood what I wrote. Check out MKBHDs video “Dear Youtube” about it and you’ll understand.

So, I have to watch a video I may not like or agree with, in order to understand what you've said? I don't think so..

I don't have the issue that y'all seem to have with dislikes on any topic which interests me..

Second, although it's Chrome based, Opera has an outstanding ad blocker. With Firefox, you have to install an extension. So, if those mean old nasty big corporations are hassling you, you don't need a "dislike" function, you need a different browser.

And yes, if you're wondering, I have those two browsers always open simultaneously So, it's not like I'm giving one a "like", the other a "dislike". For me, they both have functions I find necessary.

Unless your YouTube is totally different than mine, there's a long list of titles on the right side of the screen, which are (generally), either topically similar, or topics which I've frequented in the past to choose from.

And as I said earlier:

I seriously don't think you need to be that advanced at reading interpretation to understand it either.

If you go to YouTube looking for controversy or bad videos, I'm sure you can find them in abundance. If anybody wants to sit through some a**hole doing an "unboxing", just so they can give it a "dislike", that's on them
