In a world full of long, forgettable earbud names, be a Powerbeats Fit. Apple has updated and rebranded the Beats Fit Pro, one of my favorite fitness-focused earbuds, and brought it under the Powerbeats lineup. Easy to recommend, they stay comfortably locked in like no other, with solid sound, and are much more pocketable than before.

The Powerbeats Fit offer a better fit and a smaller case when compared to their predecessors, but audio and noise-cancelling quality have been left in 2022.

The Beats Powerbeats Fit don’t try to reinvent the brand’s formula; instead, they perfect it. Secure, compact, and surprisingly refined, they deliver excellent sound and a rock-steady fit that finally makes them truly gym-ready. The H1 chip may be old, but the execution feels fresh, balanced and purposeful.

If you're in the market for a premium TWS that offers the absolute best snug fit for intense sessions and are tired of mediocre products, then the Fit is for you. It misses out on an important feature — heart rate monitoring — that the Powerbeats Pro 2 gets, so you can try that as well. It is slightly costlier than the Fit. For a complete peace of mind, the AirPods Pro 3 still seems like the best option.

With a few key tweaks, Beats make a more polished version of the Fit Pro earbuds in the Powerbeats Fit. More flexible wingtips, a smaller charging case and all the conveniences of Apple’s H1 chip make these tough to beat for workouts, or any activity where you want a pair of solid earbuds with a secure fit.

Just like the Powerbeats Pro 2, the Powerbeats Fit does just as good a job on all fronts. Decent audio quality, a great battery life, and literal sticking power. The differences here are important, but consequential to users. The obvious one is size, as not everyone wants the massive Powerbeats Pro 2 sticking out of the side of their head.

Even with their disappointingly limited upgrades, I still like them quite a bit and prefer their fit to the Powerbeats Pro 2's (Beats did make some improvements with the design of the Powerbeats Pro 2, and they fit my ears better than the previous model, but I think the Powerbeats Fit are a safer bet fit-wise for more people than the Powerbeats Pro 2). But I like the AirPodsPro 3 better. They're just superior earbuds overall, and their new ear tips and design changes have helped me get a more secure fit so I don't need the wingtips as much as I used to.
