Corsair K60 RGB Pro Low Profile

The design of the K60 RGB Pro is clean and professional, the per key RGB LEDs really do look the part with the low-profile key caps. The build quality is exactly what we’d expect for an upper-mid-range keyboard. If it supported Cherry’s Viola hot-swappable feature, PBT keycaps and a removable USB cable, it would almost be perfect.

The Corsair K60 RGB Pro is a solid entry into the world of gaming keyboards. With a sleek aluminum frame and extra-effective RGB, the style of this kit is hard to beat. Unfortunately, the experience of actually using it is marred thanks to the lack of media keys or a Function lock, on top of an annoying metallic clang from the spacebar. They're minor annoyances that might not affect everyone equally, but in my eyes, they're issues that keep a good keyboard from being great.

The overall quality is really decent (the aluminum frame makes a great impression), so no major complaints here. iCUE support is just something obvious, and if you own any other Corsair material, the option to synchronize the lighting is a good feature. If you’re not a fan of RGB, remember that you can always adjust the lighting per key (but then why would you be buying this piece of gear in the first place?). There are no dedicated media keys (but the shortcuts “hidden” under the F-keys are really enough,so this is not really a deal-breaker, especially at this budget. Nice.

The overall keyboard looks and feels suitably premium, as it should do for its £110 asking fee. It's very aesthetically pleasing with help from the transparent housing allowing for the RGB back-lighting to come through and illuminate the keyboard nicely. I feel if you are a fan of RGB, you want to be able to see the most RGB at one time and these switches definitely allow for that.
