Overall the Razer Chroma v2 TE is a great option when it comes to tenkeyless keyboards and is one to consider. Unfortunately it has an elevated price compared to it’s predecessor and doesn’t offer much more when it comes to features.

Razer's BlackWidow Chroma refresh features a plush wrist rest and Razer's new Cherry MX Speed-like Yellow switches, but a lack of media keys and other modern luxuries leaves it feeling a bit behind the competition.

The Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 is an excellent portable keyboard. It might struggle being your everyday keyboard though.

Thanks to its great design, excellent RGB lighting, and speedy proprietary switches, the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 is one of the best mechanical gaming keyboards on the market. The Synapse custom integration supports a growing number of games, and is also fantastic. If you're looking for a mechanical keyboard for both work and gaming, a different switch or even a different keyboard may be in order, but for pure gaming it's an excellent choice.

The BlackWidow Chroma V2 is a pretty impressive keyboard and will give you a solid run of performance for any game you throw at it, excelling I think in competitive play such as PvP in MMOs or First-Person Shooters such as Overwatch. It also helps there are three difference types of mechanical keys to choose from which allows you to customise it to your type of gaming style or even work habits outside of gaming.

For Razer fans, the BlackWidow is the definition of a mechanical gaming keyboard. It has a catchy design and a long standing history however over the years, this keyboard has lost out a bit to the competition by not staying updated. Those who can splurge and have a professional gaming rig, no qualms about spending a load of cash will love the BlackWidow Chroma from Razer.

The BlackWidow Chroma V2 by Razer is an overall good gaming keyboard (a little on the expensive side) that contains some excellent customisation options (both for colours and macros) and more importantly a great responsiveness plus its 10 key roll-over to prevent anti-ghosting. The mechanical keys work well and everything is well placed on the keyboard. It’s also quite a comfortable keyboard to use, especially with its cushioned wrist rest.
