Apple MacBook Air 15 M2

The 15in MacBook Air doesn’t add anything new apart from the larger screen, but it looks great and the battery lasts forever – though a few familiar flaws remain.

The MacBook Air 15-inch is fast, well-designed, has a good screen and excellent battery life. It ticks just about every box I look for when recommending a laptop.

The Apple MacBook Air 15-inch (2023) is essentially just a larger MacBook Air 13-inch – and that's both a good and bad thing. It has a stunning design, a brilliant screen, and possibly the best speaker setup you'll find in a laptop. However, the bump in screen size means it's less portable – one of the key selling points of the Air line – while anyone hoping for a more ambitious upgrade than just more screen real estate may be disappointed.

Until the M3 arrives, the 15-inch MacBook Air is a fantastic option for anyone who wants a larger MacBook without spending thousands on a 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The new MacBook Air 15-inch M2 is a super-sized version of the 13-inch model, featuring stellar performance, epic battery life and a gorgeous display in a sleek, elegant chassis. It's arguably the best 15-inch laptop for the money.

If you travel a lot, or value portability above all else, by all means get the 13-inch model. But if I were in the market for a new laptop right now, I think the 15-inch Air would be at the top of my list. It’s fast, light and extremely pleasant to use. And getting a big screen in a compact package is just icing on the cake.

With its bigger MacBook Air, Apple ticks up the performance and battery life, while keeping the original Air's strengths intact.

The MacBook Air 15-inch is a truly superb everyday laptop, with a solid and premium build quality, a stunning big display, excellent performance and an exceptionally promising battery life. There's nothing not to love here. It's the everyday laptop dreams were made of.
