The Makalu Max is modular, but do you need a modular mouse? Maybe not.

For 89.99 USD (a reasonable offer), you get an excellent, rather heavy (110 g is the minimum weight), high-end 19K DPI wireless gaming mouse aimed at players who want functionality over lighting effects (because here, you'll get only the area around the scroll wheel lit up). It's very subtle design makes it a comfortable mouse for daily use.

El Makalu Max es sin lugar a dudas una mejora de alto nivel a la familia Makalu de Mountain que busca darnos el pico de rendimiento gracias a las características integradas en el mismo. El sensor, los switches y la duración de la batería son excepcionales pero el diseño modular no es algo tan innovador. Su precio lo vuelve competitivo pero un poco más de agarre lo hubiese hecho menos tedioso de usar.

As I mentioned in the intro of this review the Makalu Max has some features that many would consider “old school”. These include an adjustable weight system as well as optional side grips. These features really allow you to customize the mouse to your liking. For me I prefer the mouse with the larger left side grip installed. The optional weights are easy to install and remove too.
