Apple iPhone 13 mini

I think it’s all too easy to look at the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini and not think much of the updates this year. Cameras get better every year and every company promises good battery life, after all. And compared to the massive changes we saw on the iPhone last year, the 13 looks iterative, more like an iPhone 12S than truly new models.

The iPhone 13 and 13 mini feel like they should have been called the 12s and 12s mini, thanks to a largely similar design and few major upgrades from the previous models. If you have an iPhone 12, you need to decide if the longer battery life and photography updates are worth however much the upgrade will cost you.

The iPhone 13 and 13 Mini received a number of significant upgrades including new cameras, a bigger battery, more storage and a brighter screen. The iPhone 13 is a delightful upgrade to last year's already wonderful iPhone 12 family. Some will be disappointed because it's not radically different from previous models, but that's actually part of the charm.

Personally, I think its small size is more than enough reason to purchase one — especially with how rare small phones are these days. But since the iPhone 13 mini is equipped with the best processor, camera, and a gorgeous OLED display for a price that’s lower than most flagship phones, it’s a no-brainer.

If you don't want a big-screen device then this handset is ideal. It's a true pocket powerhouse that's well worthy of your attention - if you can forgive the smaller battery life as the only compromise anyway.
