Benchmarks: Supreme Commander
The Radeon HD 4850 was only slightly faster than the GeForce 9800 GTX in Supreme Commander and the new 9800 GTX+ was able to close the gap. Less than 1fps on average stood between these two graphics cards. Performance-wise both were superb, losing only to dual-GPU graphics cards and the GeForce GTX 280.
Turning on 8xAA in Supreme Commander did not change much, as less than 1fps on average stood between the Radeon HD 4850 and the GeForce 9800 GTX+.
ATI has clearly sorted out their anti-aliasing jitters. Again it was only dual-GPU graphics cards and the mighty GeForce GTX 280 that were able to defeat these two budget kings.
