Benchmarks: File Copy Test

In our single large file copy test the Samsung SSD 950 Pro 512GB delivered a mouth-watering 761MB/s, slightly faster than the SM951, 16% faster than the Intel SSD 750 Series and more than twice as fast as the 850 Pro.

For whatever reason the 950 Pro falters in our program copy test with a throughput of just 334MB/s and although this meant that it was still 28% faster than the 850 Pro, it was surprisingly 43% slower than the SM951.

This time the 950 Pro was just 15% faster than the 850 Pro in our game copy test, making it significantly slower than the SM951 which is a little puzzling.
