The GeForce 9800 GTX is impressive in Crysis performing on par with the more expensive Radeon HD 3870 X2, and playing second best only to the 9800 GX2.

The standard 9800 GTX was faster than the 3870 X2 when running in DX9 mode and slower in DX10 mode. However, the overclocked iChiLL 9800 GTX Accelero Xtreme was able to defeat the Radeon HD 3870 X2 at all three resolutions when testing Crysis in DirectX 10. Overall, the iChiLL 9800 GTX performed very well in Crysis when compared to the competition.
