Welcome to TechSpot. I'll help with the problem:

First: It is normal to have multiple iexplore.exe processes with IEv8.

Second: CPU and Memory are 2 different functions. There is a column for each in the Task Manager. A high CU usage doesn't not necessarily consume a lot of memory. Conversely, you may see a high memory use but little or no CPU use with it.

Third, slow has a lot of different causes from too many processes starting on boot and running in the background, not enough installed RAM, malware or a combination.

Are you noticing any particular system problems other than 2 IEv8 processes and 'slow'?

We do not 'screen' with the HijackThis log.
If you would like us to check the system for malware, please follow the steps in the Preliminary Virus and Malware Removal thread HERE.

When you have finished, leave the logs for review in your next reply. NOTE: All logs must be pasted into the reply. Multiple posts can be used if needed.

Please do not use any other cleaning programs or scans while I'm helping you, unless I direct you to. Do not use a Registry cleaner or make any changes in the Registry.
