  1. Hey guys,
I seem to be a bit confused on something. Will a 4x AGP Ti4600 work in an 8x slot on a new mobo I'm considering? I'm just wondering cause I thought the voltage was different...The mobo I'm looking at is cheap, but I have to go cheap... http://www.pcchipsusa.com/prod-m848aluv21.asp

the 8X AGP slots are backward comapitable with 4X. but I would think twice before buying anything from PC chips.

Out of curiosity why's that? And could you recommend any other mobo for under $50 that supports the 333mhz. FSB?

Is PC Chips still in business? Someone told me a couple of months ago that they either had already(or were about to) go out of business. Also, PC Chips doesn't have a very good reputation. I've not had a lot of dealings with them but I have never heard anything good about them from anyone who has.

    Albatron KX18D Pro

    Biostar M7NCD

    Shuttle AN35N-Ultra

3 stellar nforce2 mobos in the $50-60 and is a hella lot better than either the ecs or pc chips. pc chips now rilli makes boards for oems. and with their merger with ecs, they are the world's second largest computer component supplier behind asus
