Honestly, if Heroic Launcher doesn't exist on all platforms, I probably wouldn't even bother with Epic and GOG. It's just annoying compared to how convenient Steam is. With Heroic, I do at least download a few things, and use it to manage a few games I 'obtained elsewhere' and then export THAT back to Steam.
The job of Heroic is to manage Windows games and Lutris to manage emulation games for me, and for both to then pass it back to Steam as my main library.
