Access Denied on Process Priority Change in XP

I am running windows XP on an HP Pavilion Notebook model zx5160us with 2 GB of RAM and a Radeon Mobility 9200 Video Card and a Pentium 4 Processor. When tying to change the priority for Warcraft III's process, war3.exe, I get an "access denied" message. This has happened when I attempted to do it through Task Manager and the Command prompt. How do I change the priority, with this restriction on it?

changing priority can only be done from an Admin Logon.

I would HIGHLY recommend you not login as admin to play any games.

I only have one login, and that has been designated as "computer administrator". I am able to change a number of other processes' priority, but there are a select few, "war3.exe" in particular, that I cannot change.

As I said; don't play as admin. The game has taken control (as you're running as admin) and set a 'do-not-modify' status. If you were running as a limited user and then used Taskmgr under Admin, you would have retained control :)
