hello again people;
i have a small problem that i cannot find my way through. i have a clean-up programme in my pc that will sort out ivalid-X short-cuts etc. this time it tells me that i have 3 invalid active-XS registry entries. first of all can you tell me which path to follow to find the active x section so that i can delete them as it cant fix them for some unknown reason.
1. 'MailFileAt' {00020D5-0000-0000-C000-000000000046
2. 'mapiifvbx.object' {41116C00-8B90-101B-96CD-00AA003B14FC}.
3. 'mapiifvbx.object' {41116C00-8B90-101B-96CD-00AA003B14FC}.

I am told to edit or delete them but i dont know how to find them in their section within the registry. i know how to do it but cant find them. its probably not a big problem but a very annoying one and i dont like to be beaten even though i am not a tech wiz kid.
would be very greatful for guidence....tomrca

Well i found my way in but it denies me deletion.
What now????

p.s where is the option for registry backup

To backup, click File/Export
At the bottom of the new window, choose All (for the whole registry) or Selected Branch.
To easily save single keys, rightclick the key and select Export.

Maybe you should forget about activeX. If you don't use Internet Explorer (and you shouldn't!) you don't need activeX.
Get Firefox instead from www.getfirefox.com
