I'm planning out a new system, with 4gigs ram, and an AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+.
I run Adobe software, like Premier, Encore, and PhotoShop 7, along with some other things that would be 32-bit. I know about the 32bit emulator, but with 4 gigs, would I see a major performance decrease?
Should I go with Windows Vista 64? Or should I run XP 32bit for compatability's sake, and run a single core processor?
I was considering XP 64 bit, but Microsoft doesn't even offer much on it, so I don't think there will be much support for it.
