Age of Empires

Hey guys,

I've warily just bought AoE2 Gold and I'm trying to find out what other peoples opinions of it are. I say warily as the only RTS that's really impressed me of late(!) is Starcraft and the Broodwar addon..........

I've not really played it yet, and I know I should, but what does everyone else think about it?

I liked it as much as the versions that came before. I think I'm going to like Empire Earth a whole lot more. It's the next step from AOE2.
