I currently have a X700 256mb gddr3. Will i see a different in performance if I change the AGP aperture settings from 128mb to 256mb on my motherboard?

It's my understanding that AGP aperture settings sections off a portion of your system RAM for video buffering. As far as I know this won't increase performance as much as decrease performance by allocating extra CPU cycles for your videocard to address system RAM and also reduce the amount of RAM for system processes.
