airlink ar315w router and airlink awlh3025 pci Q's

hey all, i just got a airlink router and pci card for my wireless setup. i get good signal strenght but the Mbps keep changing from 38-45-54. i dont really see and lag from this but i was just wonderin if there was a way to make it stay at 54. thanx all

not unless your in direct site of the router..another solution is to get another access point this will boost the signal..the signal strenght depends on a lot of factors.... materials in your building, interference , distantce from router etc..
I wouldnt worry i doubt you can notice a major performance issue between 38 and 54..
38 would be a good signal strength ..54 excellent

well, i have a separate signal strenght reading from my speed rating. my signal strength is always at least very good. its just the speed that keeps changing while im surfin the net. but i dont notice and difference, i jus want it to stay at one speed thats all.
