Whatever happened to the ”upto 192 AI cores” of the rdna3 series? This stinks of artificial limitation…

It got used for some pretty important stuff.

Remember those slides when they were announcing the 7000 series? They were there.

Upscalers have only two different possible futures. Either everybody will use the open source, hardware agnostic FSR (like what happened with freesync), or AMD graphic cards disappear from the market in which case Ngreedya will be able to do whatever they want.

I think I'll skip this generation altogether. I'll stick to my 7900 XTX for now, still an excellent GPU, even without FSR 4. AFMF 2 does a very good job already too, and image quality is very good. There are some artifacts here and there, but it's quite rare and not disturbing at all for me.
