RT is the future for gaming, AMD GPUs are just too slow to use it and yeah it makes a huge difference when it comes to immersion. You simply don't know, because you have yet to experience playing with RT. Not a single AMD GPU can do proper RT.They even had to rename and release an entirely new version of the game just shoehorn RT in with Metro Exodus. A PR stunt. You can still play Metro Exodus on any card and as usual, RT differences are rarely if ever worth the FPS loss. If you're arguing for DLSS, now that's a real feature improvement as at least it *adds* FPS. But RT. Lol, no.
AMD is cheaper for a reason; Lacks features, uses cheap memory aka GDDR6 on small 64-256 bit busses.
256 bit bus and GDDR6 for flagship stuff like 6900XT is laughable and the reason why 4K+ performance sucks
Ampere is better for mining and gaming.
And FSR is a joke compared to DLSS in games that support both.
AMD tries so hard to match Nvidia features but fails doing so. Hence the drop in marketshare. AMD will be below 10% dGPU marketshare in a few years from now, unless they wake up. They have crappy offerings in almost every segment. Overpriced and gimped products.
99 out of 100 will buy Nvidia over AMD if they have the same perf per dollar. It is as simple as that.
Intel Arc is coming fast for low to mid-end which is AMDs prime segment.
Nvidia pretty much owns high-end, and have for years at this point.
