I was mostly interested in how 7600 compares, since it will be close to what Valve Steam console will have (GabeCube, right?)

If Nvidia has 5060 and 5060 Ti, AMD can have 9060 and 9060 XT. Maybe an additional letter like for 7900 XTX could have mark 16Gb version, or one less letter like 9060 X for 8Gb version.

Anyways, this looks like solid offer, hopefully will not be abused by OEMs.

Valve must getting those left over 7600s CHEAP. Otherwise why not put the 9060 in the cube?

Under a one hour load in a 21 degree room, inside an ATX case with the panels closed, we recorded a peak hotspot temperature of 79 degrees at a fan speed of just 1,100 RPM. The VRM temperature also peaked at 79 degrees and the memory reached 74 degrees. Overall these are good temperatures with very low noise output.

I know VRM's can withstand such temps day and night, because they are designed to run up to 110 degrees even, but nearby components are not so happy to run close to those temps constant as capacitors do have shorten lifespan compared to running at half temperature.

The fanprofile is set in such a way that it's silent and hovering around 80 degrees mark. They will only spin-up when they start to exceed it. Now 150W of TDP is not that much, but still.

It takes years to produce such a device, especially as the 7600 in the Cube is integrated and not a dGPU, thus it's not easy to change design when it's almost production ready.

What's a "Steam Cube"? Do you mean Steam Machine?

I walked past this review till today, good one Steven. Any chance of having a dataset choking these budget GPUs with lower spec hardware? Like an R5 3000-5000-7000 series, or an i5 12400F, because this will probably be the big target of budget GPUs, upgrade, and in that scenario it would be really cool to know how all of them are behaving at this time, Arcs, low spec Gfs and Radeons, also will be a good picture of what we can expect from the Steamcube, with kinda R5 8400F + RX 7600M.
