People forget that the last ice age ended only 15k years ago. Much of North America had mile thick glaciers. They disappeared entirely on their own with no human intervention. Changing CO2 levels had little bearing on that massive climactic change.
I really wouldn't worry about it. For those concerned about polar bears and seals, please read this article:

Canada had mile thick glaciers during the ice age. The scale of natural climactic change is far beyond anything we can even imagine.

So your solution is to ignore the root cause and control everyone else? When an interviewer asked Bill Gates why he uses his Carbon polluting Jet to spread Climate Change awareness he simply shrugged it off likening doesn't apply to him, when Congress asked Kerry the same thing he ignored the question. If you are really passionate about it focus on the root cause analysis and especially the blind sided mass famine and other casualties the elites have in store for us. The cronies are the biggest polluters per capita period!

If you have an argument or a point to make, be responsible and honest with your words. To say, some people are hypocrites, therefore we shouldn't be concerned about climate change, is a dishonest argument to make. Given the stakes involved, I do think it makes sense to be respectful and sober when discussing this issue. If you believe in an almighty God, then you also believe that he made us the shepherds of his creation.

Declining birth rates in a number of developed countries seems to be the main worry of the super rich right now. Fewer serfs to do all the dirty work. Maybe that's why they're heavily pushing AI advancement so they can have robot slaves in the future.

Nearly everyone can look out their window and see global warming - I imagine if you read only local news or watch say Fox news - you would not know all the extreme events happening right now in the world - huge 100 year plus floods in 10 countries at least , raging wildfires.
You get someone on just like when I was young - No it is not - you may say remember a year with lots of forest fires - or practically no frosts - but they are more exceptions than the rule - bird migration times don't lie , spring flowers now coming out all winter don't lie.
As for Antarctica - there are some huge tipping points - if the ice barriers than protect shelfs disappear and warm water gets in under those massive shelfs - it's considered practically unstoppable
Ignorant people have always been used by big polluters to spew their BS ( workers rights , child protection laws are communistic etc ) - Artic ice grew back this much this winter - covering so much % of water blah blah - when in reality it was super thin compared to yesteryear

I'm noticing a pattern. Instead of focusing on a solution some are more focused on climate deniers. Instead of focusing on the root causes some are focused on Trump who is not even in office Pop quiz the war in Ukraine is contributing or facilitating climate change? Don't be a denier!

We live in strange times post Rona - people are more factional etc - Here In NZ I might agree with Green party - wrt to climate change - problem is why should we penalized ourselves it no one else is - we closed lots of coal mines - but have been importing even more dirtier coal from Indonesia for a huge Power station in the North Island - for peak demand etc.
Doesn't matter what deniers say - that war is over - yes they will point out not all is nice and rosy with new ways put forward - But those points are coming from scientists themselves who want to make a difference - or get reported by genuine researchers - eg lab grown meat is not that green and has a huge carbon footprint at the moment.
Current models are pretty accurate - none of the deniers models have remotely stood up - eg ones that say climate will start cooling in X years.
But I think some modellers are really blown away by things happening this year - that will be reported as model wrong again by polluters - not reality is worse than model.
I think these heatwaves , new records broken everywhere this year - is a good thing - it's bringing home to people much better.
We need governments to act in unison - regulation , tax on consumption on heavy green house emitters and new research and projects on things that soak up methane , CO2 etc
People are pretty resilient- can't buy whale oil - install electricity - salmon too expensive - eat mackerel/tuna - sweet potato is crazy price in my country at moment due to heavy rains - rotting crops - so buy pumpkin and potatoes more - we never had all year tomatoes , cherries , mangos in supermarkets like now - we can adapt - Plastic bags gone from supermarket for fruit and veges - 6 months later forgot had that option - or needed it
I wonder where those that deny climate change actually live. I normally live in London where we recently had the hottest temp ever of over 40C (104F). The top 10 hottest years on record for the UK are all in the last decade or so. I also have a place in the French Alps where the glaciers are receding at a frightening rate. Even the permafrost on the mountains that hold the rocks together are now melting meaning rockfalls are now happening constantly and many climbs are now impassable. This week I'm in the Greek islands and there's ash falling from the sky from the fires on the mainland. I'll admit climate change looks fairly real to me.
