Application - Referenced memory error

I've just installed Feedback Chart Editor v0.97b because i want to make some custom songs on guitar hero

But when i open up FeedBack.exe i keep getting this error message

"FeedBack Chart Editor v0.97b: FeedBack.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x005757a2" referenced memory at "0x00000060". The Memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program"

Then when i press OK the same error comes up but the instruction and memory have changed to
"The instruction at "0x77f51ed3" referenced memory ar "0xffffff8". "

Does anybody know what is going wrong
Why it is happening and
is there anything i can do about it?

This program also comes with an opengl version, but it's so pixelated, i cannot read it.

The 0x60 error code is a rare one and there isn't much on it. However, read this link but DON'T link onto any of the quick fixes if they provide them.

After reading the article does anything seem familiar to what you are experiencing?


Questions: Have you upgraded or changed this software in any way? How long have you had this software before your problems began?

No, none of it is familiar

its not the blue screen of death or anything

and as for the questions;
1) I havent changed it in any way, it's still the same
and 2) This is the first time i have tried using it

its not a dud though, since it works fine on my friends computer :S
