If you are referring to a Hidden Protected Area on the hard drive, then no, the BIOS passwords are not stored there. They are stored in the firmware on the motherboard itself.

Thanks for the info! I just wanted to find out how secure some data was. Host protected area is always more secure than a solution that won't stop someone from moving the drive to another system to access. Thanks for the info, it was helpful!
