I having trouble with this monitor while playing games. The screen will suddenly go black and attempt to switch to a different source. I think the auto detect is trying to find a video source. How do I turn that off? It randomly happens while I am in the middle of a game and its very annoying.

"How do I turn that off?" - Don't think you can. Indicates that the monitor has 'lost' its connection to the video card.

First confirm power is constant and constantly attached (not all IEC320 C13 cords are the same, especially if you are using a C15). Then check the data connectors and consider trying a second data cable.

If having done this, the problem still appears, I would suspect a cold solder joint at the data connection to the monitor and, though less likely, a cold solder joint on the video card. Test by replacing components until the problem goes away.
