Hi, I have a few quick questions about the RAM support of the Asus Rampage II.

I know it can support up to 1333MHz native, but if I throw some 1600MHz DDR3s in it will it run?

Also what would be the procedure in BIOS to get it overclocked to work? Would I just need to up the voltage to handle the RAM?

Im about 1 click away from ordering and then building my dream computer, and I wanted to make sure everything was sound and compatable before I dropped that much money on something that doesn't work.

Thanks.

In theory, the speed of the RAM (1600 MHz) should automatically clock down to the speed the board is offering (in this case 1333 MHz), and it should work fine. There's no guarantee that it would though, because you know how tricky hardware can be; 1 + 1 isn't always 2 when it comes to computers, if you know what I mean. With the modern-day mainboards, I don't think it should be a problem though.
