Hi
This is my first entry so I would appreciate any help that I can get.

My computer crashes at least 3 times a week with the blue screen and the following message,
bad_pool_caller
0x000000C2 (0X00000007, 0X00000CD4, 0X00000078, 0XE523E1F0)

any assistance greatly appreciated

If you click on Start-->Run--> c:\windows\Minidump

Are there any files (Minidump files) that you could attach
attach.gif
to a new reply ?

Also can you check Event Viewer for anything happening at the time of the crash
Start-->Run--> eventvwr.msc

Highlight all of the .dmp files in C:\Windows\Minidump, right click on them, "Send To" > "Compressed (zipped) Folder". Then, attach that folder to your next post via the "Manage Attachments" feature in the "Additional Options" section right below the text box when you're replying to a thread.

Inside the 1 MiniDump:
BugCheck C2
Probably caused by : ntkrpamp.exe

Bugcheck c2 is "bad pool caller". i.e. a driver bug
But can also be caused by software, such as Norton or ZoneAlarm

What AntiVirus or System Security do you use?

Before replying back, please do these two things:
1. Update all your drivers online (via your manufactures support page)
2. Run Memtest (with a minimum 7 Passes)
