Battlefield 6 anti-cheat system requires Secure Boot, shutting out Linux and legacy PCs

I am looking forward to BF6. I hope they keep on with many of the BF2042 successes - such as the custom servers and a better balance with destruction (BF6 destruction looked over done to look good - its going to become annoying when you try to have some cover).

I love playing on a human team vs bots team - specifically swarms of instantly respawning bots that die from 1 or 2 bullets. I only use the server browser to play on such servers that I marked as favorites. With the bots (if I create a server) I can also set my own difficulty level... I've been playing BF for 20+ years, but no longer able to keep up playing against humans. I hope they make the custom server editor much easier - I struggled to get all the right settings I wanted (and did not have enough free time to fiddle that much).

Good. Competitive integrity should never be sacrificed for the tiny linux playerbase. Those who play bf and are not just reactionaries, know that this anticheat made a significant diff in games like bf5.

Maybe some time in the future we will have AI powered ac thats os agnostic, today is not that day.
