Bayonetta 3 will be a Switch exclusive, Nintendo reveals

You do realize there's a thing called google right?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tegra#Tegra_X2

Wow you are easy to prove wrong. It's pretty obvious Tegra x2 IS general purpose.
It is technically general purpose as any SoC, but it's never been released as a general purpose platform, it's only an embedded/AI product and Nvidia never offered it, marketed it or sold it otherwise.

Why even bother answering with a bunch of "maybe"? At least I can tell you for a fact that Sony and Microsoft have a semi-custom design while Nintendo does not. On top of that, they even downclocked a last gen Tegra chip. Sad.
Because I am not from Nintendo and have no idea why it happened? But you obviously have some insider news, why not share it, then?

Typical American definition of saving. FYI you are not saving any money if you are blowing it on a switch. There are cheaper devices that can do more, this is fact. You only get a switch if you must have nintendo, regardless of the price.
Yeah, you only get a Switch if you want a Switch. You also only get an Xbox if you want an Xbox, so?

lol, once again you are so easy to disprove
Ok, you partially got me. You still lied about Dragon Quest, because the full game is 27GB, so download size of a physical game is about 27-16 = 11GB, but you showed me something new about the physical game sizes. That's great, thank you.

that's also causing you to come in here and blindly defend a device that is clearly inferior for a majority of people.
Please provide the data for your claims. What majority? What does "clearly inferior" mean? Is this the same best selling console we are talking about?

Why can't you just say you were wrong about the Tegra x2. It's based on the same platform as the Tegra x1. Not having GP products on the market have nothing to do with the use case scenarios of a product. It's like you agree but don't agree

"Because I am not from Nintendo and have no idea why it happened? But you obviously have some insider news, why not share it, then?"

It ain't insider news, anyone can google the switch hardware specs....

The full game is 32GB

That's not including personal data either.

"Is this the same best selling console we are talking about?"

Pet Rock was best selling. Best selling does not equal best device.

"Please provide the data for your claims."

I've pointed these out before but here

- More expensive than other consoles ($350 vs $250)
- much less games than other consoles (1678 PS4 vs 549 Switch, 122 exclusives vs 14. Not even mentioning many switch games are ports)
- Much weaker than other consoles
- Battery degradation over time (every device with batteries has this)
- Higher cost of ownership and cost over time (other consoles don't require SD cards nor $90 controllers)

As I said:
Tegra X2 is not a mobile nor gaming chip, it's never been sold or marketed as that, even Nvidia doesn't use it in their own consoles. It's got a pretty high TDP and quite a hefty price. It's an embedded/AI chip, because it's used, marketed and supported as that, despite it's theoretical general purpose capabilities. I see no point where I'm wrong with that.

As for specs, my maybes weren't about what's inside, but about WHY that happened. And we don't know for sure - and probably never will. Nintendo might have cheapened out, I never disagreed, I just don't have all the facts and can't say that for sure. Insiders might know.

As for Dragon Quest's size - like I wrote, Nintendo eShop says it's 27GB, not 32. Doesn't matter, to be honest, only half of the game fits on the cartridge, that sucks.

As for "clearly inferior" - you obviously mistook "provide data for claims about majority" with "provide reasons why you dislike Switch". We know you don't like it, but that doesn't justify saying "a device that is clearly inferior for a majority of people".
