I have to dump an old Genesis video collection to DVD for my brother, using his external Artec DVD+/-RW burner. The only stage of this I can't do on Windows (and the only one I can do on BeOS) is capturing the video.
I've got a Brooktree/Conexant 878 card, and the latest drivers for it. It has the quality I want in the WinTV2000 application
However, I want to know whats the best app for capturing the video to file under Windows. I need it in a format that Sonic can understand to burn to DVD - I presume MPEG1/2/4 are acceptable.
