Better PSU = better performance?

Is it feasible to believe that the 500W thermaltake I just installed in place of my stock HP 300W hipro made a HUGE different in performance? Everything seems so much smoother now and more operable. I had about 8 USB devices along with a XFX 7900GS Nvidia card running and 3 sticks of 1GB ram. With of course a SATA HD and DVDRW.

I now have the 6 pin connector I needed for my GFX card though. I'm anxious to play a game

I wouldnt doubt that it would, 300 watts for what you have is pretty low.

sounds good to me man you were probably taxing the 300w PSU pretty hard.

Yeah thanks to you guys for the suggestions. I held out and got that brand new thermaltake for $20 on eBay

Word of advice as a powerseller, if you want good deals.. look for auctions that end on Sunday
