Bios guardian disabled message

I have an e machine t4060 with windows xp home edition. when i start up my computer i get a black phoenix screen that says bios guardian disabled, virus may affect your bios. when i enable the bios guardian it goes to my windows screen then i get that the date and time is not correct. when i go to the control panel my date and time shows up as january 1st 1662 at 12am. when i reset to the proper time and date then i am finally able to operate my computer. it does all the previous things after i shut the power off and reboot it. any suggestion???

I would replace the CMOS battery on the motherboard. It's that flat disk shaped battery about the size of a nickel.
