Hi all
I'm using win xp with sp2
Pc was running fine ran pc analyser from avg
Pc was showing signs of slowing down & internet became very slow
Checked with isp re line & connection had adsl modem tested all clear
Tried to do reapair of win xp put winxp cd in & ran upgrade from windows not via boot option as pc was not booting from cd faulty cd
Unable to repair windows
I was able to install new windows xp on same pc without deleting old windows
I can see my old user folder but cannot access as all user had passwords
I can now boot onto new windows install all works fine but I need to get first windows upand running desperately
Not my graphics card as suggested in other posts as the new install of windows works fine
I've tried f8 an all options related safe mode,last good profilie,command prompt etc to no avail
Also got new winxp cd & tried to repair from it no joy
Please HELP my business depends on this PC
