Most users can now upgrade to Windows 11 26H2, even from Windows 10

sure, sure, I bought the license to use OS on my hardware. Does this mean I still have to watch advertisements, have installed unwanted software even if it wasn't here before, and in general have some random person (or ai) having access to my private files? I don't think so.
Depends if that’s in the terms you agreed to before install. With a general use OS you have to remove the bits you don’t want instead of everyone else having to add them.
at 2 - why? How is this an user friendly OS, where user can uninstall Edge, can't stop reboot if this 'user friendly' os decided he just want to reboot in a minute, and doing any change is just pain, impossible without 3rd party tools, or it is vendor locking.

Where did you get this 'majority of people will use copilot' bs? And there is a huuuge difference if system comes without a software and install it without your action. If there is an update I should be asked if I want this software with opt in option, instead of "we already installed it, it is our product so we can enforce our monopoly, if you dont like you can unistall, but fear not, you will see it back with the next update".
I mean you can uninstall edge…and you can schedule restarts or just ignore them and shut down without updating if you want to.

You’re literally complaining about software you can uninstall if you want to.
You install the OS and select the bits you want, not the other way around. You may install os and select a premade list, like: install office stuff, of install gaming stuff, of programming stuff. Or all of them, and you click advanced to tailor it to your needs, or just click ok if you are not and just want things working. That is user friendlines, and that is control on the software you bought (buying licence to software is the same thing for purpose of who can meddle inside of your private data).
Nope, you install the whole OS then customise it to what you want. Because it’s generally better for a user base in the billions just to install all the functionality that’s advertised rather than just install a bare bones and have thousands of complaints that’s x and y isn’t working and where is z.

The OS is on my PC, something like copilot or recall should be opt-in, not installed without owner consent. And the job of an operating system is to let me do things and then get out of the way, not forcing unwanted software.
You know it’s there, it’s not hiding and you can uninstall it. You also don’t have to use it and it’s not obtrusive. It’s not “in the way”. Recall is also opt in.
And no, Windows is not user friendly, not unless there is an off switch that lets you disable the spyware without digging into the registry editor.
The telemetry you can limit in start up or turn off to mean? If you were that bothered about spying why are you on the website where my browser had blocked 20 trackers and that’s just the ones it’s stopped.
