new here and need help.My son has a HP zd7000 laptop running windows xp.the problem is the screen on the laptop is black,the computer is running, if you connect it to another monitor (TV) it seems to be operating fine,all programs,internet conection,etc..just a black screen on the laptop itself.We tried the flash light to the screen and it showed nothing,we tried the brightness controls,nothing,we tried the fn f8 button still no good.any ideas? thanks
