Started getting blue screen with Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
looked thru info on techspot and started with 8 steps to clean computer.
downloaded avast to start step 1 and got blue screen again when running avast.exe file.
Had to unplug laptop and pull battery to shut off machine.
Restarted and tried to run avast and computer blue screened again.
was unable to download spec file to get specs to put in profile info.
already have malwarebytes on my system and am showing trojanzbots when scanning in safe mode. Every time I clean system at least 1 trojan shows back up. explorermgr.exe
when downloading the avast antivirus I got this message on bluescreen.

2nd Blue screen message

I know i have windows xp professional and this computer was running fine until the other day when a computer tech put a memory stick in to take files and transfer to another laptop and then put stick back in mine.
Any thoughts on how to start fixing since I can't make progress on the 1st 8 step cleanup.

Finally got it to scan with avast but only in safe mode. Can't keep it on long enough in normal to be able to download any of the other programs for steps 2-8.
