BMW and other German manufacturers getting desperate for money! The EU allowed in the China cars, now they are paying the price. Just like the EU letting in millions of foreign invaders, they've LOST.

They bet big on China and now China is gently reminding them that they overstayed there.
According to what I found, they are going into survival mode in China because to quit now would be to admit that billions of investment there was a mistake.
What does this mean for the Western markets? They need to find more ways to force people to pay more.

Anyone that decided they would pay BMW for driving the disgustingly ugly cars 'almost' deserves being petered by ads. Clearly it is a new low for BMW and customers need to let them know, else it will only get worse.

Same happened in the early 70's in America, when the "oil crisis" hit. Japan flooded the American market with CHEAP vehicle that got over 20mpg (back then most cars has 20+ gallon tanks 350hp or higher engines, 4bbl carburetors and got 10-15mpg because no one cared. Gas was 20-30 cents a gallon). My dad was a car dealer and it was rough! My grandfather, who was with the 5th Marines on Iwo Jima and other "interesting" places called all six of his children and told them if he ever caught them driving a Japanese vehicle, he would never talk to them again. Sounds rough, but I understand what he had to do and witness in WW2.
European countries & American companies need to produce affordable good quality vehicle and stop with the "land yachts" called oversized pickup trucks & SUV's. Heck, the only "sport" in the SUV's if dodging a runaway cart while at the shopping mall or grocery store.

Just about every car maker builds SUV's, but it is only in the US that soccer moms think they must have trucks. And the really crazy thing is those trucks are using a loophole, so not only don't they need to follow the reasonable demands for mileage they also don't need to be as safe as cars. The result being the soccer moms drive ferry their kids in more danger than they could and while doing so, they also pollute more harming the future for their children which will really be feeling the climate change.

And the really crazy thing is those trucks are using a loophole, so not only don't they need to follow the reasonable demands for mileage they also don't need to be as safe as cars. You OBVIOUSLY know nothing about US trucks, the laws and who's driving them. This Chinese proverb applies well to you.

Sure.Here is a couple of suggestions.
1. Read up on CAFE.
2. Look into who actually drives trucks. You will find lots of them aren't used for work.
3. If you want to dispute something then bring data.
