hi, every time i boot my computer up it comes up with windows boot manager... i get two options Earlier Version of Windows or Windows 7, win7 is already selected and it boots after 30 secs unless i press enter on win7, i have no other OS installed , is there a way of skipping this boot manager stepo and get it to autoboot in windows 7 ??

Yes, you can set the waiting to 0 while selecting windows 7 as your primary OS (I guess there was some DOS boot files may have been on your system when you installed 7). Anyway here is how you can do it:

1. Right Click on my computer icon on windows 7's desktop and go to properties
2. In left most panel you'll see "advance system settings" click on it
3. In the appearing applet there is an Advance Tab, at its bottom you can find "Startup and Recovery" section, click on settings:
4. Select Windows 7 as your default OS,
5. In "time to display list of operating systems" set time to 0 (it will 30 sec by default)

Click ok twice, and you should be done and dusted for good :)
