  1. Hey guys. I want someone's opinion if my CPU is a bottleneck for the rest of my system...?

    Here's my specs:

    CPU: AMD 4600+ x2
    RAM: CORSAIR 3GB (3 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
    Video Card: EVGA 8800GTS 512MB

    If so, any recommendations?

    Thanks for any replies :)

For the most part I'd say no it's not. Some games may give lower FPS under certain CPU intense circumstances but overall it will work fine.

I'd say its good, just watch out for overheating. My 4600+ has done that to me, and I had to buy a zalman 9500 heatsink for it.

Keep the case cool as much as you can... Don't block vents either..

    Air-in-take fan
two or three Air-out-take fans along with the CPU fan
    Get a larger PSU
