BSoD due to cmuda.sys?

Hello!
I'm new to this site and posting so it might take me some time to get the hang of things...
Okay, so when I'm playing a game and get to a specific part of the game, my computer shows the BSoD with the 'IRQL not less or equal' message and then restarts.
I've been looking at other threads for the past two days and someone said to use Windows Debugging Tools. I used it and it said that it was because of 'cmuda.sys' which is to do with my c-media audio device?
I'm not too sure what to do with all this information. :S
Anyone got any ideas?
Any help at all is greatly appreciated!
Thank you! :D

I would try reinstalling the audio driver but after uninstalling the old one from Add or Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista, W7).

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I it's XP.
Umm, I'll probably sound really dumb but I tried that but I didn't know how to re-install it... I tried to look on te C-media website but I didn't know which one to download.
So I had to go through the system restore to get my sound back.
