BSOD - Error code 100000d1

Recently I downloaded a large avi file and tried to play it only to get a quick shot of a blue screen and then my computer would reboot itself.

So, I scanned the file, tried again, same response, deleted the file, redownloaded it, same response. So I tried out a different .avi file and got the same response which concludes it's not the file, it's my computer (drat).

I've read a few places saying it could be a driver of some kind, but my error codes arent the same as those who have the same issues, so before I got messing with things that may not even be the cause, I'm here to ask for help.

I run windows XP and have recently reformatted it a few months back and did update my geforce drivers (which I am about to do again right now).

Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 b12e8ed0.

Any help would be great :D

0xD1 errors are usually caused by faulty drivers. The problem is we really don't have any information to go by the determine which one(s).
