Vista should give you an option of Safe Mode and Networkng. Have you tried that for internet access?

Yes I've been using that for the last few weeks. That is how I am online at the minute. haha

I re-read our earlier find and it still appears -- at this point -- that thew wireless drivers are our main concern but you couldn't install all of them.

You could try downloading them to a flash drive on another system and install via said flash drive.

unfortunately I have no other way of downloading the drivers. If I were to reinstall vista would that help at all? I feel that might be the only option left.

Do you have a friend or associate who would permit you to download the drivers to a flash drive from their system?
